EVEN though the Home Ministry recently approved the publication permit for the Herald – the Catholic Weekly, only publication in English, Tamil, and Chinese is allowed. Publication of the weekly's Malay language version has been held back, pending a court decision on the use of the word "Allah".

When you said, you support Palestinians since it is concerning humanitarian and economic issues. My question is: where were you when you heard of all the voices of your own people, crying out to the government asking for political justice and equal treatment. I am sure you must be aware of the actions of your own party and how your fellow Malaysians have suffered the violence of various actions and racist remarks coming from your party.

In recent days, there's been much debate on whether the Malay Special Rights should be preserved. Whether to banish the Malay Special Rights or not - there is no right or wrong answer. What is the population of Malaysian-Indians here in Malaysia? Two million plus? And the population of Malaysia? Twenty five million? That works out to about nine percent, right? So if Malaysia has 222 parliamentarians, there should be at least 20 Malaysian-Indians amongst them, right? Wrong.
