Thagarajoo, Nallakaruppan’s one-time driver, swears he brought Mr. Ji to Najib’s house every month to perform Hindu prayers and rituals. And it appears it is still going on until today. Does that, therefore, render Najib’s oath, performed the so-called 'proper' Islamic way, null and void?

Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak on Friday night swore in Masjid Jamek Guar Perahu near here (Permatamg Pauh) that he did not know or had any connection with Mongolian woman Altantuya Shaarribuu who was murdered in 2006 in Puncak Alam, Selangor. Najib said he was making the swearing although it was not an official swearing made on the Quran.

"Wallahi, Wabillahi, Watallahi (With Allah as my witness) I swear I do not know or have any connection with the Mongolian woman. I do not know if others want to swear or not but I know I did no wrong. This is between me and God," he said. (Bernama, 23 August 2008)

That same day, Thagarajoo a/l Thangavellu also swore, through a Statutory Declaration, that Najib and his wife, who may be born Muslims, are practicing Hindus. Would, therefore, Najib’s oath, performed the so-called ‘proper’ Islamic way, be valid after all?

Things are getting curiouser and curiouser.

There seems to be no ends to SDs and every SD reveals the fact that truth can never be hiddened for long" I was puzzled why the DPM's wife has to put a charm to prevent PM and his beloved from getting married. Bernama quoted him as saying: “Datuk Seri Najib’s swearing is true and it is accepted that he has no connection with Altantuya.. Not one document, photograph or video involved Najib.”

The rituals performed by Master Ji are to cleanse Najib and Rosmah of spells and charms placed by others. Amavasya is a time of the month to thanksgiving-worship of the ancestors, as well as a time for occult practices. It is conducted monthly because Najib probably believes he is being charmed repeatedly, under constant attack, hence the need to cleanse every month.

Looks like all the thousand of cases not being able to reach the courts can be send to the mosque and let it be sworn on.We can save the rakyats million and within one day. We can let all of them swear at the same time solving them within the minute.(All will swear not guilty, of course!! & C4 can lead them in a mass swearing). Also, the immigration can swear that, the mongolians was never in Malaysia, and Bala never existed. Since we are at it, we can also swear that that laywers and the judicial clowns are just actors and not needed.

It has been confirmed that Najib swearing in the mosque last night was done after he was certain that there was no incriminating evidence against him on the Altantuya murder. He found out after the police raid of RPKs residence yesterday morning . But RPK is not stupid!

It is indeed an irony in Malaysia that all liers are taking oaths and the honest one refrains from doing so! Simply because liers are desperate to prove their innocence. Najib did not realise the extent of the peoples believe in his involvement in Altantuya's murder, until he comes to Permatang Pauh. He directed the police to raid RPK's house to check for other incriminating evidence on Altantuya's case. It is only after that he made the swearing in the mosque.

Perhaps a few Malays at least have seen the light to revert to their ancestoral religious practices of their forefathers. After all, Malaysia has always been a melting pot of various cultures being a multi-racial and multi-religious country. There is plenty of room to learn from each other.

Sometimes we wonder what is happening in this part of the world. Here we have high level ministers swearing and yet doing something else at the back. In factin my personal opinion, if someone who has not wrong will not be thrown with all the accusations . There must be something wrong!!!!!

The act of defiance of god to whom one is a believer continue shout above one's throat how religious one is.

Yet they hide behind in his religion and is a cheapest way, a low-lying scum to cheat and mock in the name of belief. In reality this whole bunch follow the fake path. That's why religion and politics must not mix, they will twist and turn until all other minds are twisted, this is how umno have successfully demonstrated for the last 51 years.

Religion and state must be kept separated to keep a clear administration which disallow and discourage religious and political abuse. There seems no end to religious swearing and the rule law is of no use and value to this country.

The existence of SDs that are not "investigated" are serious problems and grave failure of the current gomen to restore the judicial system in the country.

Clearly, the value of a person's swearing on his religion is directly related to his personal relationship with his religion. As such, swearing on the holy book has no value as a means of proving innocence as nobody knows what is your personal relationship with your religion.

Those who are deeply religious will not want to invoke the name of their God especially when such swearing is not an established practice in their religion. But those whose faith is weak will swear left and right to convince others.

As for those who invoke rituals and charms based on another religion, it goes without saying that their faith in their own religion is weak.

To Gorshan, as a muslim, one is prohibited from doing any practise that puts one's hope in anything other than Allah (or praying for protection against evil to other god/thing).

Any practise, be it through a Malay bomoh or otherwise, even a belief that a thing can be used as a charm is prohibited in islam. We call that shirk and if one's heart believes in such thing - that makes a person as mushrik - a person who believes in more than one god.

Anyway the part about Najis and Rosmah not wanting Bodowi to remarry is true. Bodowi got married because Fat Ros was getting all the publicity and the marriage is not because of love but politics. I'm not surprised at all with these allegations, in fact in Malaysia many, especially those who are in power or rich practice some kind of black magic that includes those who claim to be devout Muslims too. Being born in one religion does not make that person automatically a follower of that religion.
