Umno gives way for PAS to contest Seri Setia in likely straight fight

(The Sun Daily) – Umno Deputy President Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan (pix) has today announced that Barisan Nasional will give way for PAS to contest the Seri Setia state seat.

The Seri Setia seat in Selangor is vacant following the death of the incumbent assemblyman, Shaharuddin Badaruddin yesterday.

Umno appears to be reciprocating PAS’s decision to yield the Sungai Kandis spot to Barisan Nasional, whose candidate it has also endorsed.
