Ti was among the fresh faces appointed to the presidential council on Wednesday.
"There should not be a culture in the party where certain rebellious individuals continuously subvert and undermine the party's agenda purely because they have the comfort of crying to their political godfather outside the party," he said at Wisma MCA yesterday.
Ti said this in response to Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin's comment that Umno might have to step in to help resolve the MCA's leadership crisis.
Ti was of the opinion that any external interference could dent the integrity of the party.
"When there are problems in other BN component parties, you don't see their leaders asking other component parties to interfere.
"But of late in MCA, there are people setting the platform for this and are perceived to be orchestrating certain scenarios to justify external interference."
He also criticised Youth chief Datuk Wee Ka Siong and Wanita head Datin Paduka Chew Mei Fun for dramatising and distorting the reshuffle of the presidential council.
Describing Wee's and Chew's tearful breakdown as "political dramatic opera", Ti said the duo should not feel sad as they were still the heads of their own wings as well as vice-presidents.
"The presidential council is merely the party's administrative body."
He said both wings were represented in the council by the Youth deputy chief as well as Wanita secretary-general and Wanita national organising secretary.
