(Free Malaysia Today) - Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak shares the view of his Home Minister cousin Hishammuddin Hussein that Muslims are free to protest and express their views against a court decision which had allowed the Catholic newspaper Herald to use  the word “Allah.”

As long as Friday’s demonstration did not spill over into something more serious, Najib told reporters that the government cannot stop people from protesting over the Allah issue.

However, he said that the  authorities were prepared to face any situation.

"We hope the protests will not spill over. Better still if the protest is minimal," Najib said after opening the first 1Malaysia Clinic.

Najib said that the authorities could not stop groups from gathering at mosques and protesting there.

"As long as  it doesn’t spill over into something serious, they can still express their views," he said.

Hishammuddin had also stated yesterday that the government did not prohibit the people from expressing their views on the Allah issue but action will be taken if the protests affected security.

What Najis meant was, we cannot stop the protest, because we actually want the protest to go on. That is our intention. That is why Pasir Salak, Nazri and others have been told to make racial threats. We hope the protests get out of hand, we will make sure it does as our members have been told to instigate. Once it gets out of hands and lives are lost, we will declare emergency and set up a National Security Council. All state govts will cease to function. There will be no elections until I am ready to step down or I drop dead. So this is Najis plan. Get it Malaysians. Can't we all see this or are we so blind.

For Najib its a case of damn if you do and damn if you dont. He cant afford to offend the UMNO supporters by preventing the demo although it is the right thing to do. Instead he chose to offend the non UMNO people which he deemed is less important. That effectively sums up his character. What a LOSER!! Just vote this bastard out in the next GE. People, please exercise your responsibility and VOTE. No excuses please!!!

Pakatan should have a "No ISA protest" today. Then Najib will have a dilemma on his hands. If he chooses to clamp down on the "No ISA protest" then it clearly shows double standards practiced by the Malaysian government to the world.

Statement impotent. How about the statesman? Doesn't seem to be impotent.

Managed to quell an uprising of a 20,000 strong group of protesters with a whole bunch of tear-gas and water cannons. Also very ferocious in dealing with violent terrorists brandishing candles and singing 'Negaraku'.

Let's see how tough you are when the police and judiciary root for the other side.

- With great hope, a constant prayer in my heart, and a voice that yearns to bellow the national anthem proudly.

I would like to take this 1 Malaysia concept and shuff it you know where and up whose you know what.

When he took office I warned Malaysians that he is snakier than the Mamak who did the snake dance on the Malays. The Mamak was an expert BERLIDAH BIAWAK... here we see BERLIDAH BERKEMBAR BIAWAK.

YOU NO WALK YOUR TALK MAN..JUST LIKE THE ADA HARI WALKING MAYAT PM...And according to the Indian PM.(the God of UMOOONO) he said,"..choose to be a MOOOlayu or choose to be MOOOslim"...and that is how he confused the Malays....O..great Mamoooothir we worship you!!! you threatened the Chinese and Indians with may13....and now the son of May13 threatens with a demonsstration...saying he cannot stop this......stop this and we will repeat May13....very very very very very very very nicely and slyly done...

Onnetline... MCA, Gerakan, MIC and other subcomponent parties is still sitting because UMMM-NO hasn't asked them to bark yet.... They are like very obedient dogs waiting for commands, followed by treats and "Threats"....

Even those Christians in these parties are smiling happilly while their God (the very same Allah) is being humiliated in that way... That His name should be called only by Muslims... Others got to use a different name... Maybe because they have a more supreme God above their Allah... The Almighty Ummmm-No.

Mr PM, if you think that by you allowing for the umno malays to run amok in protesting the Allah fiasco, by you showing intolerance towards this issue standing on the side lines will boost your ratings, think again Mr PM.

I will pray to Allah All Mighty to ask for your forgiveness ,I believe many malaysians especially the malay malaysians is now cursing you and your next few generations to come.

I pity you for the puny myopic vision you have in your head, shame on you for disgracing your honourable father and ancestors.

Let all the demonstrators have their field day. The Police, FRU and riot squads have all probably been ordered to stay home, sleep and take their leave. No tear gas, no chemical-laced water cannons, no arrests, no nothing. Wow, I simply love Malaysia where religion is played up bigger than Allah or God or whoever He is.

Enough grieving... Now back on the feet...

As a home minister, what should he do?

1) Arrange meeting with the muslim NGO to understand their concern, Engage profound religious teachers, scholars and respected individuals to interpret and explain the truth (That Allah is same and one with God). And make that part of a T.V program. To calm and disperse misunderstanding.

2) talk to Herald, and scan through the publishing to ensure no misusage of the word Allah.

3) Open seminars and public talks, in Churches, Mosques and public places to educate and correct biased thinkings.

Instead, the home minister sat in his office, and claimed "we should be balanced to allow these groups to express their displeasure"... What is this??? He is not doing his work as a home minister!!! He sees an issue and instead of solving it, he uses it to fan more trouble...

Hey UMNO!!! Hey Home minister!!! For this, you should be fired for your incompetency, for your failure of solving it before it turned bad...

"As long as it doesn't turn into something serious?" YOU ARE JUST ABOUT TO MAKE IT MORE SERIOUS THAN IT ALREADY HAS BEEN!!!

Or... U R THE ACTUAL CULPRIT OVER THE PROTEST?? SO YOU LET IT HAPPENED BECAUSE IT IS WHAT YOU WISHED???

"On Dec 31, Lau ruled that pursuant to Articles 11 and 12 of the federal constitution, Herald had the constitutional right to use the word in respect of instruction and education of the congregation in the Christian religion.

She also said that, pursuant to Article11(4) of the federal constitution, it is an offence for non-Muslims to use the word “Allah” to Muslims to propagate the religion, but it is not an offence for non-Muslims to use the word to non-Muslims for the purpose of religion"

she what she said. why are no leaders clarifying to the public about the ruling? they are not interested cos they want to create trouble? PM?

Cannot Stop? Really? Good... Now lets talk about your stopping the Rally to the Istana; The one near Sogo that caused some shopping malls to be closed, with your ministry barking up the wrong tree; The Hindraf; Perak's Kopitiam gathering; and last but not least, the PEACEFUL Candlelight vigil... Did that turn into something serious???

Now... You are one MAJOR REASON MALAYSIA IS GOING DOWN IN HISTORY... Why?

Knowing well that the problems of failing democracy in Malaysia, you choose to further destroy whatever's left of it... This double standard, and selective inaction caused much disappointment in many of us...

My tears ran down my cheek reading the statement.

"How could they be such?" I asked myself... My heart broke and I cried at the death of my love for this government. My last piece of hope to see a better BN government scattered... The last of my respect to you as a P.M, and the ministers has died.

Don't tell anyone we came from the same country... Don't tell anyone about 1 Malaysia anymore... It's a disgrace... It's embarrasing for me to be born from the same land as you... And don't go about telling others that you are a muslim... U embarrased even a non-muslim because of your lack of religious knowledge...

Which too, makes you disqualified to be a PM and ministers...

I'm crying... For Malaysia... My home... My motherland...
I'm crying... For freedom... taken away... With no mercy....
I'm crying... For democracy... smashed... scattered...
I'm crying... For I feel hopeless in place ruled by a corrupted government.

Hey!!! What are the Sultans doing??? Can't you see where this is going??? Why are you silent??? Please... Help us Malaysian...

After multiple FAILURES in attempting another MAY13 picking on Chinese vs Malays to gain political grip, Anak Bapak 13Mei Najib Rosmah is now trying to make it Christians (Chinese & Indians) vs Muslims (Malays) to win solid Malay Muslim votes and on the other hand intimidate Non-Muslims for security votes for the coming 13th GE. If things get too hot, they will hold a Snap GE this year.

Nice strategy...

There is a difference between cannot stop and will not stop. It serves their purpose to allow for the powder keg to ignite thereby introducing drastic measures to shore up the support of certain quarters. Bwsides this explosive godly matter will create the ideal diversion from all the adverse controversies surrounding the leaders of the present administration. They definitely needed this religious diversion to take the heat of their backs as it becomes a racial matter then. Racial divison has always been practised since british times. They have learnt well from the colonial masters. So please rakyat focus on issues that will put food on the table, clothes and education for the children. Do what we believe will be pleasing to God Almighty not to man. God bless all fellow malaysians that we may live in peaceful co-existence.

If tomorrow people of all other faiths also march for freedom to use whatever name they want to use to refer to their god, then are they "free to protest and express their views" against a court decision which has granted a stay on the earlier one, will they get a "we cannot stop them"?
