In recent months several events point to familiar UMNO (United Malay National Organisation) intrigue. This occurs whenever there is a tussle for power at the highest level. Is Muhyiddin (who just launched his blog – Muhyiddin Yassin for Malaysia), Prime Minister Najib’s Deputy, attempting to overthrow his boss? Najib, who only came into power in April of 2009, is in real danger of not completing a term as Prime Minister (read here).

Muhyiddin has taken some tangential positions to his “boss”. Muhyiddin’s stance on hot button issues such as the “Allah” Court ruling — insisting that Christians drop the usage of the word “Allah” and backtracking on the formation of an inter-faith council to resolve the “Allah” issue through dialogue — were ominous. In fact, Muhyiddin demonstrated his fundamentalist credentials as soon as he became Deputy Prime Minister in April 2009 but strengthened them further in October 2009 (he made racist statements against Anwar Ibrahim), when it was clear that fundamentalists were gaining the upper hand in UMNO.

The context to this is simple — UMNO has two different views on how to remain in power — to become a Malay/Muslim extremist party to capture the Malay votes or to return to the middle ground — which had served it well for the past 52 years. Muhyiddin represents the first view while Najib the second. Unfortunately, due to Najib’s indecisiveness, he is considered the new “Pak Lah” (the former Prime Minister) while Muhyiddin is seen as the new “Mahathir” (read here). Despite, Najib’s policy prescription of “Malay Leadership”, it appears that UMNO is still about “Malay Supremacy” as represented by Muhyiddin.

Najib has a trump card that Muhyiddin does not possess.
That's Rosmah.
To beat Najib, his enemy would have to first defeat Rosmah.

MmZhiDin has to act fast because Najis is losing ground fast and will for sure bring UMNO with him. If that happen MmZhiDin can only dream about being the next PM.

And since MmZhiDin believe Najis is in shaky ground the is no reason for MmZhiDin to go along with Najis 1Malaysia and hence what you hear from him are Allah belong to Islam, defender of fire bom of the church, leaking information of the missing jet engines, Flying Carpet man, and etc

Najis was your back, when you are down and about to go out, your closes friends will become your enemies.

Even MahaThiew know you are going out that's why he came out in "support" of you recently because he know if you go you might bring him with you.

Najis your days is number

'...it is likely that Najib will have to resort to underhand tactics to save his position in UMNO — and as always it is innocent Malaysians — mostly likely opposition leaders and democracy that will pay the price"...hmm , a very ominous warning.
Let's hope he fall first and the UMNOputras disintegrate with his fall.

Saiful could only keep it in for 2 days. Very soon this freaking piece of turd will be ejected from the bowels of Putridjaya into the arms of a Mongolian spirit seeking revenge.

If Najib can topple Abdullah Badawi to become a President of UMNO and Prime Minister of Malaysia in spite of the Altantuya case hanging him them, then nothing is going to affect him except general election. Say what you like, he will outdo the biggest crooks without having to life his finger. Didn't you know Tun Mahathir is extremely happy with Najib performance.

As for Muyiddin, he merely follow what Najib asked him to do. You think he is so daring to challenge his boss? It is their strategy to front Muyiddin as the bad cop and Najib as the good cop. But they did not know, this was an ancient strategy no longer work in this modern world. We know about this sandiwara.

Malaysia's biggest problem will be best appreciated by the Finance Minister...! While those UMNO extremist are shouting over the roof, the fundamental problem is that they want money at the same time..., and they are just a bunch of suckers always looking for more..., more money! Yet to ask them to generate income for the country...? Sorry, they have no idea...! Then from where comes the money???

The PM cum FM know exactly those UMNO suckers are a bunch of parasite..., those non-UMNO Malays at least are self-sufficient, and for him to balance the country's finance, he can only rely on those second class non-Malay...., so is it so easy to act extreme and avoid seeing the outflow of money from the country?

Unfortunately the PM also dare not give away the FM post fearing the great influence attach to the post..., it will be an easy task to change whoever extremist opposing him by appointing them FM..., and to see an about turn of their attitude in a short span of time!

Many of those former FMs who initially were extreme in their stand but eventually changed are good examples..., be it Ku Li, DSAI..., Mahathir will be an exception though..., but we all know so well he is such "cakap tak serupa bikin..."!

In short, whoever responsible to put food on the table will realize there is no free lunch...!

Brutus is hiding the dagger behind his back, waiting for the right time. And it is only a matter of time, as Brutus is an opportunist.

But when Brutus shows his hands, and become the new Caesar, someone else has to play the role of Brutus. Who will that be then? What goes around, comes around. Ah, life is not going to be easy for one who has Brutus-ed his own Caesar the sleepyhead. It will also be only a matter of time when Brutus gets Brutus-ed himself.

I don't think that Najib is out. There are even much bigger crooks and tugs in UMNO and they are now pushing Najib to take a much stronger stand against the up-rise to overthrow UMNO. I don't think any of these hard core criminals will take over UMNO, but Najib will give in more and more to these people to survive.
The next GE better come around soon.
