PKR supreme council member Datuk Zaid Ibrahim today accused Umno and right-wing Malay groups like Perkasa of promoting rent-seeking among Malays under guise of defending their rights.

He said Malays with high-level ministerial connections were being accorded allowances, special benefits, as well as positions, ostensibly to allow others access to these connections.

“Actually, what they want to defend is a rent (seeking) system, whereby Umno Bumiputeras can use their influence as leverage to get positions, allowances and shares in a company.

“These kind do not mind protecting the interests of the elite, even though the companies of these elites have resulted in honest Malay businessmen [being] unable to gain a fair playing field. That is the truth of the situation,” said Zaid in a posting on his blog.

He asserted that Malays should be able to work with anyone, as long as they worked hard and took care of their businesses.

“I agree with Ibrahim Ali who has said that there was nothing wrong with him, as Perkasa president, working with a wealthy Chinese businessman like Vincent Tan, or with any businessman to make housing projects or bridges or any other projects in Kelantan.

Those in Perkasa are just human parasites who have gotten used to the easy rich life. As the Malay population increases overwhelmingly, it just does not make sense to be robbing the minority for the majority. ..something's gotta give. These Perkasans have rendered themselves useless,

Once a person has got the taste for easy money he is never going to go back to honest hard work. The Malay who are enjoying the NEP are never going to give it up. That also goes for the Chinese and Indians who are getting contracts and corruption money from the government are always going to support BN, even though they know that it is killing their race.

Only why getting all the honest hard working citizens to vote are we going to kick BN out.

We never actually know why Vincent Tan did not renew Ibrahim AlKataki's Directorship in that company? But I have a hunch that this burger only "pandai cakap",but do not deliver anything. Vincent Tan thinks that it is wasteful to keep this arsehole around. Hence, Al Kataki's contract was not renewed.

Bullchick is right, this burger is a freeloader and many people have said of Vincent Tan's management style. He will show the door to any inefective, "pandai cakap" free loader to leave.

This Ibrahim Ali Katak doesn't do business with the Chinese; he just freeloads on them! This type of do-nothing directorship in listed companies are just there to make up the numbers of UMNOPutras; otherwise company will find it hard to do business. Worst than prostitutes; at least prostitutes work for their keeps! These leeches and parasites do not bring benefits to anyone except themselves! The worst types of freeloaders!!!!!
