The NEP is a fallacy. It is nothing more than an eye wash. It has never been intended to help the Malays in general , but to enrich the greedy and unscrupulous umNO and their cronies.

Just imagine !!! Under present situation when times are bad, they will even grab small amount contracts for themselves!!!.

If Malay contractors are hard hit, it is worse off for the non-Malay contractors.

RPK basically blame the politicaly well-connected for leveraging out the malay contractors even when their prices are not competitive because of political power. He say it is wrong to lay the blame of Malay people's economic performance to chinese. If fairly competing against chinese any malay can also win, but unfortunately the small ones if pitting their strength against the powerful will loose.In conclusion it is the political Malays who actually impoverish their own people
