MACC still probing PI Bala, says Nazri

(Bernama) - The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission’s (MACC) investigation on private investigator P Balasubramaniam is still ongoing, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Seri Mohamed Nazri Aziz said.

MACC was prepared to meet Balasubramaniam to record his statement at any location deemed suitable by the private investigator, he said in a written reply to a question by Lim Lip Eng (DAP-Segambut).

Lim had asked whether MACC was willing to go to England to record Balasubramiam’s statement in front of his lawyer.

Balasubramaniam created controversy on July 3, 2008 when he distributed a sworn deposition in connection with the murder of Mongolian Altantuya Shaariibuu, at a press conference at the Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) office in Kelana Jaya.

The next day, the private investigator retracted the sworn deposition and distributed another sworn deposition at a press conference before leaving for abroad with his family.

If the Dubai Police got all the evidence (timeline, video recordings, etc at the Hotel, shopping mall, from & to the airport!) on the Mossad Killer Squad incident at the Hotel in Dubai "within 24 hours".

They can intimidate Bala & fabricate evidence in an instance...

What about fabricating the Batu Puteh photo at ICJ where they eventually lost the case and even OUR Island - bringing shame to Malaysia!

Our PDRM and MACC personnels get their so called training going to UK, US, etc at taxpayer's expense; plus with our "most expensive" Forensic, etc Equipments....cannot even find our "missing kids" since 2 years ago....Hello Nazri... is this all that you can say????

Either nazri or macc is lying. No two ways about it.. And both are in entrusted positions.

macc has categorically mentioned in writing to Bala's lawyer where they wanted the venue of the investigation to be. Definitely they NEVER AGREED to have it at a venue of Bala's choice.

Now, this chap nazri said something TOTALLY DIFFERENT in the august Parliament.

Malaysians, beEND and umNO included, You bear witness on how beEND govt and its agencies treat official document and parliament. With such thing happening, don't you agree Malaysia is heading towards a doom ???
