Umno will stick to its playbook of lodging police reports to tie up its political foes, this time against Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, for allegedly using the name of the King in his Sept 16 power grab two years ago.

The Selangor and FT Umno Youth has said it will make the first of a flurry of reports against Anwar for sedition this morning after party leaders left it to the police to investigate the Opposition Leader’s alleged actions revealed by Bayan Baru MP Datuk Seri Zahrain Hashim in Parliament last week.

“The police report is likely to made after the Prime Minister’s statement,” an Umno leader told The Malaysian Insider last night, referring to the Umno Youth report to be lodged today.

The leader, who asked for anonymity, was unsure how many other reports would be lodged but signalled it would follow the pattern of reports made against DAP national chairman Karpal Singh when he declared the royalty could be brought to court.

There is already a call for Anwar to be investigated under the Sedition Act for allegedly affecting public order by linking the King to his ambitious bid to capture Putrajaya after Pakatan Rakyat’s (PR) historic gains of four more states and 82 federal seats in Election 2008.

The Malaysian Insider understands that the first report will be made following statements by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak and his deputy, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, both Umno president and deputy president respectively, that Anwar can be hauled by the authorities over Zahrain’s claims.

The former PKR member told Parliament last week that Anwar indicated the King and armed forces chief would support his bid to be prime minister if he could show backing among enough Barisan Nasional (BN) MPs. Zahrain also named eight BN lawmakers who had agreed to jump to PR.

Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein, the Home Minister and Umno vice-president, said the claims was enough for Anwar to be investigated under the Sedition Act.

It is learnt that a few non-govermental organisations have also indicated they will lodge reports against Anwar, similar to those over issues related to religion and position of the Malay Rulers.

I wonder ,how come all of a sudden trust without doubt the story as told by one of the act PKR who jumped ship and turned to become one of their yelling dogs. How credible is this yelling dog after he betrayed the voters who voted him under PR? Common Najib think using your head for once! At least he has to prove his statement first. For our beloved Malaysians we had make great mistake by electing the monkey UMNO/BN govt to take care of bananas plantations which yielded in BILLIONS of RMs of our money being ripped off via corruptions, misussage of power and making certain UMNOBN goons rich, at least for now. Any dick, tom and herry can claim anything. Let justice be done, let us use our mind in our head.

Time for Setev Altantuya to follow up on the case of his daughter's unfortunate demise. Bring it to the International Court of Justice if need be. They want to play hardball, so let's play with them.
And the rakyat better start digging up all that dirt on Hisham and Muhiyiddin as well. This government is h*ll bent on stifling the opposition, it will have to be people's power that will eventually bring the nation out of this morass.

What was alleged to be done by Anwar in respect of the Federal Parliament was actually done and carried out by somebody else from the BN in respect of Perak. Why no fuss about the Perak case ?

All aduns from both the political divide must demand that the Speaker refrain Zahrain from telling lies inside the sanctity of the House dragging in the Good name of the Agong and the armed forces and suggesting that they took side in politics. This is a very serious statement he made inside parliament and he must be made answerable for such a seditious remark.

Does Najib and UMNO have the guts to take on Anwar fairly and like a man ?

They always have this ' needing the tongkat' mentality like how they blind folded and tied Anwar before they could whack him. When UMNO had to face Anwar like a man like when minister Sabri debated Anwar on national TV, they bled and frothed through their teeth. UMNO has been using 'tongkats' like PDRM, MSMs, Special branch, AG, Judiciary, MACC and all government machineries and yet they are at a loss as how to handle Anwar. This also shows how useless this government machineries are. They are just concentrating on one man and are making blunders with their every move.

Why are the Aduns from the opposition so quiet knowing that this idiot Zahrain has been uttering lies about the 8 BN parliamentarians intention of crossing over to PKR and also dragging in the Agong's name and the armed forces of taking sides?

The police are going to take one man's - an a crooked man at that - uncorroborated statement and take action against Anwar. How desperate they must be!

Najib thought that by shouting 1Malaysia and making some concessions to the non-Malays he can win support of the majority of the Malaysians. However, he did not foresee that UMNO was not going to give anything to the other races. They are so bankrupt of ideas that they think by pretending to defend Malay rights and Malay language, the Malays will flock to support them. The Malays have wizened up. They know that there are Malays and there are UMNOputras. Malay rights is only for UMNOputras. The UMNOputras can try all they want. They can make all reports they want. They should be happy if they can even get 50% support of the Malays. There was some support for them in GE 12 from the Chinese and Indians because there was fear of repeat of May 13. There will not be such fear in GE13.

Umno seems to be obsessed with attacking Anwar and putting him away. They must be scared shitless of him as the only Malay leader who can sway the Malays and break Umno's power.

Read like sharks who tasted blood and are in a feeding frenzy. These people behave like terrorists always baying out for Anwar's blood. They are building up the momentum to continually harass him to to garner support for jailing him in the upcoming sodomy case. How come they didn't consider it seditious last year? Why now only consider it seditious?

You think the people are so stupid not to know what your intention is? You are trying to kill off true democracy and justice for the people. You are an evil generation of wicked and corrupt leaders whose destination is hell-fire and damnation.Do all the evil you like but take note
