Roads to Dataran Merdeka to be closed today to stop assembly
(Bernama) — Police will close the roads leading to Dataran Merdeka here Saturday morning to stop an anti-ISA assembly planned for the night.
Dang Wangi OCPD ACP Zulkarnain Abdul Rahman told reporters today that police would put up roadblocks as a precautionary measure.
He warned the public not to join in the assembly because the organisers do not have a permit.
"We will not hesitate to take stern action against those who persist in carrying on with the assembly," he said.
