Cops seek rally SMS mastermind

Police are still investigating to uncover the mastermind behind the SMS about an alleged illegal assembly which was to be held in Kampung Baru last week. 

The text message claimed that Malays would gather in Kampung Baru on Dec 16. 

Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Musa Hassan warned of stern action against those who spread seditious SMSes. 

“We are still investigating, so I can't comment further,” he told reporters after presenting prizes for the police station visitation programme at the Royal Malaysian Police College here yesterday. – Bernama
