Blogger arrested; Cucumatkilau & DSP Borhan Daud
Blogger cucumatkilau of Kuantan was arrested and badly roughed up by the police on 24/12/07. His real name is Mohd Shukri Mohd Ramli.
Technically, he was not arrested for what he wrote, but on trumped up charges of being a drug pusher. When the cops failed to prove this ridiculous charge, he was released a few hours later.
Just by “coincidence,” cucumatkilau is a prolific anti-government blogger. He is also famous for revealing details of an SB officer who was notorious for his brutality during Reformasi time, DSP Borhan Daud. Vengeful motives are suspected.
