Good And Bad Manners

On the other hand, to Ms Hee, who refused to come to her senses, but turned the truth upside down, talked nonsense and saw the people as idiots, the whole world is wrong and only she is right.

Former Bukit Selambau assemblyman V. Arumugam and Ms Hee reacted differently to temptations and tests, showing us good and bad manners in politics.

The reason is still unclear why Arumugam quit his state assemblyman position. Perhaps, he had his problems or he was facing a great pressure.

Most importantly, he resigned without making things difficult for his political party, and he did not betray the voters.

How brave!

Personally, he did not gain anything, but lost the state exco power, status and benefits. He did not make use of any party. He knew it well that the people's representative position should not be traded for anything. Since it was elected by the people, so it should leave it to the people to make the decision again.

Very fair!

"She thought that she is clever. In fact, she was repeating her mistake."

On the other hand, to Ms Hee, who refused to come to her senses, but turned the truth upside down, talked nonsense and saw the people as idiots, the whole world is wrong and only she is right.

I did not mean to respond to her nonsense, but we could not just leave her mislead the public like that. Therefore, it is necessary to make clear some of the truths.

She argued that it was not her that left DAP, instead, it was DAP that abandoned her. It could be very simple. Just learn from Arumugam to quit the state assemblyman position and return the power to th voters.

The state assemblyman position is in fact a public employment, it should not be used for private purposes. No matter how profound your hatred against DAP is, you should at least remain the status as a truly independent lawmaker. But Ms Hee did not do so. Instead, she helped to overthrow the Pakatan Rakyat state government.

She has always been vague at this key point and dare not to directly answer the question. She tried to distract the people and make up her own story, hoping that everyone would follow her logic and believe her sophistry.

Finally, she shirked her responsibility by simply saying that she was forced to quit the party as Secretary-General Lim Guan Eng said that: "loosing contact for 24 hours means a resignation".

She thought that she is clever. In fact, she was repeating her mistake.

All of us were keeping our eyes wide open to see whether she would realise her mistakes and say something human, if not to apologise. However, she was just talking nonsense and showed no remorse at all.

It is what we called bad manners in politics.
