Nizar: Nothing To Be Sad About

(Sin Chew Daily) IPOH: "My family and I do not feel sad at all having to move out of the official residence and return the official car. Instead, this is the evidence that we have been oppressed and kicked away by people."

Pakatan Rakyat's Perak menteri besar Datuk Seri Mohd Nizar Jamaluddin said he had received the official notice from state secretary Datuk Abdul Rahman to move out of the official residence for menteri besar at Jalan Tambun, Ipoh within ten days.

He said he was still looking for a house to stay, which must be near to the children's schools.

Nizar is now staying with his wife Datin Seri Fatimah and six children.

Nizar said during an exclusive interview with Sin Chew Daily that he and his family would still be safe after moving out of the menteri besar official residence, for they had obtained the safety assurance from the police.

He said he had plenty of friends and the PAS charity group to help him.

On what he would do after moving out of the official residence, Nizar said he was still the menteri besar and would go on his routine work as menteri besar, including meeting the people and investors.

As for whether the investors would meet him, he said it was up to the investors to decide. He said he had appointments with investors up to July, and so far he had received two calls from them expressing their inability to meet him. (Translated by DOMINIC LOH/Sin Chew Daily)
