Last Minute Bid To Stop Assembly: Main entrance to State Secretariat building to be sealed tomorrow

(MySinchew) – In what is seen as the last minute effort to abort the emergency sitting of the Perak State Assembly Tuesday (3 Mar), an unsigned Perak state government circular bearing the state emblem was issued announcing that the state secretariat in Ipoh will be closed Tuesday.

Visitors have been told that all appointments scheduled for Tuesday has been cancelled.

The state assembly is located in the state secretariat and the shutting of the secretariat will effectively prevent the convening of the assembly called by speaker V Sivakumar.

Meanwhile, Mentrio Besar Zamry Abdul Kadir had called of a press conference twice within an hour and has re-schedule it later in the day.

He is believed to be filing for an injunction at the Ipoh High Court to stop the sitting.
