Charge me and I will tell all, says PKR man

(NST) – The Ipoh Barat Parti Keadilan Rakyat division chief, who made a statutory declaration alleging that Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak had offered RM50 million to entice PKR assemblymen to cross over, has asked police to charge him in court so that he could reveal all the evidence.

Fauzi Muda, lodging a report at the state Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) office here yesterday, said: "I am prepared to be charged so that I can expose all the evidence, including recordings of discussions and conversions on the issue of buying over Pakatan Rakyat assemblymen.

"This is the only way I can provide all the evidence in my possession relating to the buying over of the three state assemblymen who are now supporters of Barisan Nasional.

"On the other hand, it looks like the MACC is not interested in the case while the police have been directed to take action against me on the statutory declaration I made against Najib on Feb 2."

In Kuantan, Pahang PKR yesterday claimed its elected representatives had been approached to leave the party.

PKR chief Datuk Fauzi Abdul Rahman said Barisan Nasional agents visited two PKR members of parliament and invited them to join the coalition.

"This is the first step. The next will be a cash offer and later, they will receive a threat."

PKR won two parliamentary seats — Kuantan and Indera Mahkota — in last year's general election.

Pahang Pas commissioner Datuk Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man, however, expressed confidence that its representatives would remain with the party.
