Another Roller-Coaster Ride for Malaysian Christians Over “Allah” Issue

We call upon all Malaysians to support a petition by concerned citizens in Sabah,guided by the belief in fairness and social justice and the provisions laid downin the Federal Constitution that allows for freedom of religion to sign our petition  HERE .

The word "Allah" has always been used by Christians in Malaysia to refer to "God"in their Publications and Preaching without restrictions.The universality of the word "Allah" is used by Christians in other Muslim countries such as Indonesia[the largest Muslim population in the world]and Arabia[home for all Muslim pilgrims]without any problem.

We are appealing to the conscience and the wisdom of the Prime Minister of Malaysia,YAB Dato'Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi to reconsider the decision of the Home Ministry,so that we can continue to belief in the fairness of the Government.This memorandum will be personally handed to you in Parliament.

We appeal to all Malaysians irrespective of race and religion and the International community to support this petition in the hope that your support will make that huge difference.
