Anwar to re-submit file on black-eye case

(The Star) – PKR de facto leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said he would re-submit to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission a complete file of materials and documents in relation to allegations that the Inspector-General of Police and the Attorney-General had covered up his “black-eye” case.

Anwar, who had on March 3, submitted documents relating to the case to various commission members, said he had not got a response but would submit a complete dossier this time.

“The last time I only submitted part of the documents available. I am also writing to the MACC advisory board chairman Tun Abdul Hamid Mohamad to ask for a review of the previous decision by its commissioner Datuk Seri Ahmad Said Hamdan that there was no case,” he said yesterday.

Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Seri Nazri Abdul Aziz had earlier told Dewan Rakyat that a panel probing Anwar’s complaints had cleared Tan Sri Musa Hassan and Tan Sri Abdul Gani Patail of any wrongdoing.
