BN’s Trump Card: Mussen to be Assistant Minister?
Let’s put aside all the viewpoints regarding BN giving out ‘goodies’ and ‘instant noodles’. A lot of views has already been put forward.
Now, consider this scenario- sort of BN’s ‘trump card’. After nomination, BN will eventually reveal that trump card. It will be done as ‘a bait’ for the Btg Ai voters to vote for BN candidate.
Remember that the late Datuk Dublin was an Assistant Minister. So what better way to announce that Mussen will be appointed an Assistant Minister to carry on from the late Dublin, should he win. Now , that’s the trump card!
So its left to the Btg Ai voters whether or not take up the bait. Of course, on the surface, it may seem to be a goodunting move that at least that post will still remain with PRS, and the Btg Ai constituents will still have a Minister.But once the people of Btg Ai have already decided, even such a bait will not entice them to vote for BN.
