Khairy Leading In The Youth Race

(MySinchew) – The UMNO Youth and Wanita election ballots are still being counted. But as of 3.30 p.m., it was said that Khairy Jamaluddin was temporarily in the lead.

As for the Wanita UMNO chief election, the incumbent Tan Sri Rafidah Aziz is being challenged by Datuk Seri Shahrizat Abdul Jalil. However, it appears that their votes are still too close to call at this moment.

UMNO Youth and Wanita delegates began casting their votes at 11.00 a.m. and 12.00 p.m. respectively, and the elections ended at 1.00 p.m. and 1.45 p.m.

Official results for the Youth and Wanita elections are expected by 9.00 p.m. to 10.00 p.m. tonight.
