Shanghai Fish is now at SK Tinggi, Trong. Total voters 1843 (Chinese 23%, Malay 76%, Indians 4%). Turnout currently is 50%. Both sides harassing each other and FRU presence is oppressive but not aggressive YET. Bigger PAS crowd against a smaller but more boisterous BN. Hopefully the rain will cool things…..the people are always OK….it is the imported hantus and KL trained provocateurs who manufacture trouble in these rustic villages.

Shop closed early as boss-woman answered the call to ferry voters in Simpang because of the BN-engineered road-blocks that are preventing post-lunch voters from getting to the polling station. This last bit Alan and Gus got from the DAP HQ here in Taiping. But DAP and PAS motocyclists are fanning out to assist the stranded.

Shangai Fish romped into Batu Hampar. 50% of 656 eligible voters have voted. Fishing around that he does to perfection he revealed that early on PAS ghost-busters rounded up a bus load of phantoms who were earlier offloded at an oilpalm estate.The FRU were alerted and they escorted the phantoms out of Batu Hampar.

Voter turn out is low (55%) Roadblocks especially in Simpang is making it troublesome for folks to go into the Matang area to vote. Duke reports low Malay turnout. Boom reports of minor skirmishes. Nothing serious….that childish, "touch me first, dare you to touch me first" dare. Police presence keeping things in control

SHANGHAI has rempit-ed to Sungei Rotan. 303 (55% Chinese, 29% Malays, 14% Indians) are expected to vote…. the turnout should improve after 3pm as the estate workers will down tools. Police have set up road blocks leading to Kampung Puteri ….46% of voters have cast their votes. Traffic is being diverted…..are they doing the KT so early, asked Boom.

Boom & Duke witnessed high-handed intimidation by BN supporters….short of a BN sponsored football to kick around they have resorted to kicking at cars with PAS flags. Earlier at Ayer Puteh they also kicked at YB Nizar's car. I dont think this is TDM's idea….he used to hate football….stupid for 22 to run after one inflated leather ball, he rediculed.

Shah101 is now at the Air Terjun polling station….situation less tense….that's good…the FRU seems to be doing well in maintaining calm. 490 voters are expected to vote here. 257 have cast their vote, 52% that is…..and it is already drizzling…..

At SMK Toh Johan, Trong Barat, large crowd provoking PAS voters and cars. PAS VP YB Husam Musa was similarly heckled by BN as he passed by. Ah well, part of the job.
Shanghai says that the police stay a safe distance from the polling station. FRU trucks heading towards Air Tujun…..Shang hopes to chase them…..and he is feeling like a Mat Rempit…..We are wondering if Boom & the Duke have found any bas hantu….they are giving their handler Lillian the very coldest of cold shoulders. Voter turn-out is slightly over 34%….this is slow lah….if rain comes susah lah….that is when, with the help of the EC, the phantom voters gain unobstructed entry into the polling stations.

Wow, that was a fast response….Duke & Boom verifies that voter turnout is around 700 out of a total 3200. This is too slow. Guys go bang on doors…..it is lunch time soon.
Chinese voters are openly proudly proclaiming that they voted green.

At polloing station at Sek. Pengkalan Au, the FRU has ordered PAS supporters to get back to their pondok. Shah has promised voter turnout as soon as he gets them.

We finally located Shanghai Fish…. for a while we were worried about my room-mate….he has moved from Kuala Sepatang to Trong…………good the team is really criss-crossing and giving a good perspective of what is on the ground.

Shang is at SRJK (C) Siu Sin: total voters registered at pondok: 299 Malays; 35 Chinese; 229 Indians.

More PAS supporters than BN. Normal heckling…..but BN guys gave up. CALL IN THE TUN….BOTH ALSO CAN.

Vechicles honking non-stop and traffic chaos is the order of the day here in Trong.

Boom reports: Heavy heckling from both sides at Sek. Laksamana, Sepetang.
Positively a pro PAS chinese crowd.
Duke was told by police he could not take photographs of polling station at Matang's SJK Khea Wah. Heavy police presence. He also reports that BN machinery looks more superior and organised.
Shah: PAS pondok registered 607 voters…..Heckling becoming more aggressive at Pengkalan Au School polling station. Ratio…..5 PAS to 1 BN. The dominant PAS crowd out-shouts. This can get ugly…….there it goes. Shah said that a volley of tear gas was fired to cool tempers…..that is a novel way to cool tempers! NO? I hope this will not deter voters from coming to the polling station.

More lady voters than men at Pengkalan Au Polling centre…..a clutch of wheel-chair voters are seen. PAS shading senior citizens with umbrellas. PAS & UMNO supporters mingling on same side of the road. This is unusual.
