Anwar: It was team effort

(NST) – Opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has likened Pakatan Rakyat's victories in the Bukit Gantang and Bukit Selambau by-elections as a message from Malaysians that they are still clamouring for change.

Anwar, who is also Parti Keadilan Rakyat de facto leader, said their good showing was due to a cohesive team involving the DAP, PKR and Pas. He also called for snap elections in Perak to solve the constitutional crisis.

Pas deputy president Nasharuddin Mat Isa said the party had expected the bigger majority in votes.
