Zaid: Barisan will contest in Penanti

(The Star) – Former de facto Law Minister Datuk Zaid Ibrahim expects Barisan Nasional to contest in the Penanti by-election.

“No matter what the circumstances, Umno should not reject the call for a by-election as it allows the constituents a chance to be heard.

“Usually, the voters’ voices are heard once every five years, so when they have another chance, they would be excited,’’ added Zaid, who will be campaigning for Pakatan.
