Does Muhyiddin Work for Najib or Mahathir?

Who does Muhyiddin really work for? The Malaysian government, Prime Minister Najib or Tun Dr Mahathir? This would be a very interesting question for political pundits and for Najib himself. Let’s review a few of Muhyiddin's mutterings and actions since taking office…
ON PENANTI
Unlike the PM and President of UMNO who has serious misgivings about contesting the Penanti state seat, Muyiddin has decided to keep an elegant silence, aware of course that Dr Mahathir has no such misgivings and has in his own inimitable way intimated that BN not contesting would amount to an act of cowardice.
ON APPOINTING A PRESS SECRETARY
Muhyiddin who initially was said to be partial to appointing Rashid Yusof who was supposedly part of KJ's campaign team as his Press Secretary changed his mind at the last minute. He must have been reminded of Dr Mahathir's unquenched anger and vengeance against KJ and anyone else who is seen to have supported KJ in the past.
On THE USE OF ENGLISH TO TEACH MATH'S AND SCIENCE
It is understandable that Muhyiddin must be under a lot of pressure to accede to the various language groups as well as UMNO but at the same time come out with a policy that would be in-line with the wishes of the former premier Dr M.
ON THE CROOKED BRIDGE
Once again the response to the crooked bridge has been anything but firm by Muhyiddin. It would be interesting to see how he is going to weave his way through, because just like Najib he too was in the same cabinet that agreed to not building a crooked bridge.
On all these issues and more, we will be watching very closely to see who Muhyiddin's REAL BOSS is.
