Dr M publicly declares “BN will lose, so why bother with fresh elections”

I really don’t like to follow or even read whatever Dr M says nowadays. But this one, appearing on Malaysiakini today, caught my eyes, because he shamelessly “spilled the beans” on why Perak crisis will go on.

Let’s look at what he said:

I think the opposition… well not the opposition… I think that Pakatan is going to win. So why have an election? We already had an election.

Ok, this is obvious and we all know it. But it is interesting that Dr M is publicly admitting it and therefore selfishly BN has no reasons to ask for fresh elections.

As such … there was no need for Barisan Nasional to be calling for a state election to settle the ongoing political turmoil in the state.

He recognised there is turmoil in Perak, implying the rakyat of Perak are suffering. And still, for its selfish reasons, fresh elections are no-no. How arrogant and ignorant of people’s interest!
