Positive Parenting Seminar – FREE for MT Forum Members

Positive Parenting is the country’s first authoritative and only holistic parent education programme developed by experts. The programme, initiated by the Malaysian Paediatric Association (MPA), offers the collective wisdom of Malaysia’s leading child experts with the aim of enhancing the joy of raising children and providing them with a strong foundation in all aspects of life.

Catering to the needs of new parents and parents with young children, we are pleased to announce that we will be having a Positive Parenting's Mother And Newborn Care seminar themed "Healthy Mum, Healthy Baby" featuring talks on pregnancy and newborn care as well as vaccinating children against preventable diseases by experts in the field of obstetrics, paediatrics and psychology. This seminar is conducted every year with a different theme. The objective is to promote awareness on the possible risks in pregnancy, the importance of vaccinating children and the challenges one may face from the transition of being partners to embracing parenthood.

The details are as follows:

The Positive Parenting's Mother And Newborn Care Seminar Series 2009 will be held at
Puteri Pacific Hotel, Johor Bahru on May 23, 2009
from 1.30pm to 5.30pm. A nominal fee of RM10 will be waived for "MALAYSIA TODAY" forum members (inclusive of hi-tea and seminar materials).
