The Star overcome by ‘bodekus extrimus’
I am referring to a hack job entitled US looks for Malaysian answers. I do not know wheter Dato Wong Chun Wai, Group Editor of the Star actually reads my blog, but I sure hope he gets this message.
Your editor is an idiot for letting that article go to print with such a misleading headline. Lim Ai Lee, the person stupid enough to put her name to the title, has only gone to confirm that The Star, reportedly the nations highest circulating newspaper is nothing but a rag that takes incredulity to a new high and crediblity to a new low.
This is what Secretary Clinton said :
“We all have to learn from each other as we work through this global economic recession,”
Diplomatic speak, nothing more.
Let first give you, dear readers a glimpse into how big the United States economy is. It is the largest economy in the world, dear Ms. Lim. Its GDP is approximately $11 trillion, ours about $300 billion, so its about 40x larger than us. To put into context the United States has about 50 states, and Califorina alone has an economy that will allow it to be a member of the G7.
