Why I don’t respect RPK

Hafidz Baharom, The Star

While Raja Petra's website had posted some of my articles from the Nut Graph before, I am not a person who holds him in high regard.

Not because of him being a rather nasty and fiery writer who apparently has a bunch of little birds talking to him from all sides, but it's because himself as a person and a speaker does not gel with his writing.

And anyone who has seen him and heard him speak in person would agree with such.

But now, I have another reason to despise him.

When a person flaunts his absence from facing the music for his actions by stating that he "is in exile because of durhaka" to the Selangor royalty, one must ask……and yet his son can appear at court?

If durhaka is the excuse, not only you, but all your descendants cannot step within the borders of the state.

Therefore, I brand his excuse as worthless as cow manure. Nope, that's not true. Cow manure has more worth than his excuse.

And then, his lawyer has the nerve to state in the court that his client (RPK) is afraid that "he won't get a fair trial"?

I'm sorry, but hasn't the courts proven themselves fair, as we saw when he was cleared of the ISA charge early this year?

RPK, no disrespect to you, but you're double standards of choosing the times you wish to face the music reeks of hypocrisy for a person who once preached that you're "berani kerana benar".

And you know what, if the court is willing to give him some leeway since he can't step into the state of Selangor due to his "durhaka", fine.

Hold the trial in KL.

How then, RPK?
