My reply, since the Star jumped the gun

You know, it's rather an honour to have RPK suddenly mention you by name.

By Ahmad Hafidz Bin Baharom Alam Shah

Please note his article in Malaysia Today (http://mt.m2day.org/2008/content/view/22271/84/).

In it, he details his current case with very detailed facts in his case and brands the court a kangaroo court.

While I'm reading his points, I can't help but think that if he has all these points already out in public, why doesn't he sue the government?

Why not refer the fabricated article to the MACC, detailing the changes?

Wouldn't that be more suitable to charge the prosecution with fabricating evidence, and get him disbarred?

If all this is detailed out, why is it presented online and not in court?

So what makes it different now?

Is it perhaps the new Prime Minister, and the fact that his cousin's the Home Minister?

And another interesting point about his case (which he highlights himself) is his mention of the many, many postponement requests the prosecution has asked for, is that it sounds very, very familiar.

Then I remembered the case against Irene Fernandez, who had a case recently dropped against her after 13 years.

In both instances, the police and prosecutors bungled up the case. However, the major difference among the two, one's respectful enough of the judiciary and faces it, regardless of how ridiculous it seems. The other has no respect for our judicial system.

This is, of course, the same judicial system that allowed him to be released from detainment last November.

So how is it that Mdm. Irene Fernandez of Tenaganita can go through such an ordeal, and yet, RPK can't, and decides instead, to tell them to "go to hell" and "no more bullshit" and that he is "berani" enough to tell them that he won't be detained under the ISA again?

So, RPK, what differentiates you from Madam Irene?

Personally, I think Irene Fernandez is truly berani kerana benar, while you are actually fearful of another ISA charge which so far only exists in your head, and continue to run and write around with a warrant out for your arrest.

How long is this going to last?

And PS: Thank you for not losing sleep over me. You'll need it whenever you decide to have your day in the kangaroo court. Till then, good luck.
