Bintangor TAR College – BN empty promises to win election
Sarawak tycoon Tan Sri Ting Pek Khiing has decided not to build the proposed Tunku Abdul Rahman (TAR) College branch campus in Bintangor in the central region.

It’s typical over promise – never deliver Sarawak’s BN fame for. In an attempt to bribe Bintangor voters to vote for Ding Kuong Hing construction tycoon Ting had earlier promised to donate land and pay for 50% of the construction cost of the campus.
Ding won the Sarikei’s Parliament seat and less than a year later Ting announced he pulled out of the project. The announcement was criticised by the DAP, which also accused the SUPP of failing to keep its election promise.
