DAP sets up funeral committee for MACC death

(MySinchew) – The DAP Friday announced the setting up of a funeral service committee to arrange for the funeral of Teoh Beng Hock, political secretary to DAP to Selangor executive council member, Ean Yong Hian Wah. No date has been announced yet for the funeral.

Teoh plunged to his death in suspicious circumstances on yesterday from a building where the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) is located. He was taken in by the MACC the previous evening to supposedly help them in a corruption probe and was detained till early the following day – the day he was to be married.

The funeral service committee is chaired by Ean Yong Hian Wah (DAP Selangor Chairman, Selangor State Exco, ADUN for Seri Kembangan).
