Graft allegation against Guan Eng

(The Star) GEORGE TOWN: The Penang Gerakan Youth has lodged a report with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) over Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng’s decision to move from his official residence to a luxury bungalow.

Vice-chairman H’ng Khoon Leng said the wing hoped the MACC would investigate the issue and reveal details in the interest of the public.

“We have no choice but to bring this issue to the MACC to investigate if there was any wrongdoing involved,” he told newsmen after lodging the report at the state MACC office in Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah yesterday.

H’ng was accompanied by Gerakan Youth chief Oh Tong Keong and two other members.

Lim moved out of Seri Teratai on July 3 after it was found to be unsafe for occupation because of termite infestation.
