More than one male DNA sample was found on the clothing of deceased political aide Teoh Beng Hock.

According to the first report from the police forensic experts from Bukit Aman, a swab from the outer layer of Teoh’s jacket showed traces of his DNA and that of another man.

In the second report, a test on the deceased’s belt revealed two male DNA samples – Teoh and at least one other man.

The report revealed during the magistrate’s inquest that a total of 102 people had given their samples to be tested.

Of this, results for 90 were ready while the remaining 12 were still being processed. The report said two people had refused to give their DNA samples.

No matches have been made thus far.

The inquest was postponed by magistrate Azmil Muntapha Abas to Aug 5 to allow more time for Teoh’s family and the Selangor state government’s lawyers to examine the investigation reports.
