Let Them Eat Cake!!

As we know, the French Revolution was a violent uprising of the masses where many nobles and officials were lynched – the popular punishment being beheading.

Now let's take a look closer to home.

This post, is my response to the irresponsible and flippant statements made by the Sarawak DCM and YB Billy Abit Ajoo upon being informed of the Dep. Min. of Rural Development's announcement that 3,000 Penans facing famine in Sarawak are asking govt for assistance (as reported by Bernama – http://www.bernama.com/bernama/v5/newsgeneral.php?id=429450   and also   http://www.bernama.com/bernama/v5/newsgeneral.php?id=429074).

These are our fellow Malaysians, and I am outraged that their lives are held so cheaply by the powers that be. The topic may not be as "glamorous" as other political issues, but I think this is another good indication to the nation as to how low the rakyat's lives are worth to the powers that be!
