A coward to the core

Gerakan president and ex-Penang Chief Minister Tan Sri Dr Koh Tsu Koon said in Alor Star (note: not in Penang, but in Alor Star) last Friday 14 August 2009 that the Penang Barisan Nasional (BN) liaison committee will leave it to the DAP Penang state government to resolve the tension in Kampung Buah Pala.
Tsu Koon said only the DAP state government was responsible to find a solution to the problem faced by the residents in the area, whose houses were ordered to be demolished.
The irresponsible comment by Tsu Koon exposes the type of person he is — a coward to the core who does not admit and accept responsibility for his own mistake.
The whole Kampung Buah Pala shit was created by him, with the scandalous deal negoitated, concluded and sealed by him when he was the Chief Minister.
About the only thing the Guan Eng administration did was being forced to honour the Tsu Koon scandalous deal by allowing the legitimate payment approved earlier by Tsu Koon.
In fact, it was just procedural that the state agency responsible paid out the money as it had been approved by Tsu Koon when he was in power, and I doubt Guan Eng actually knew about the payment until the Tsu Koon shit exploded.
Come on, be a gentleman, Tsu Koon, and admit that it was you who created the shit and dumped it on Guan Eng. No Penangite worth his or her salt will give you any respect if you just stay away from Penang and refuse to admit and accept responsibility.
You have already discredited yourself by accepting a minister post via a senatorship when you had said during the 2008 general election campaign that you will not accept a minister's post via being appointed a senator.
Now, whatever little respect we Penangites have for you has been buried with the Kampung Buah Pala shit.
Sometimes I wonder how you can go around with no shame for putting the blame of whole Kampung Buah Pala shit on Guan Eng. I think the cow dung collected by the residents should be used to throw at you. But I doubt you dare to visit the place. I challenge you to come back to Penang and face the Kampung Buah Pala folks and tell them in the face that you are not to blame for their problem.
Penangites should wise up on the type of people Gerakan has as its leaders — people with no shame, no credibility and no integrity. The Penang Gerakan, especially its state leader and youth chief, have been making a lot of noises and coming out with many silly illogical statements attacking the DAP and blaming Guan Eng for all the shit left behind by Tsu Koon. These people think we Penangites are stupid and gullible like themselves. The Penang Umno people can tear up their Gerakan president's picture, stepped on it, cursed him, and they just kept quiet and do whatever Umno wants them to do.
I hope my fellow Penangites living in Kampung Buah Pala will be wise enough to know that Guan Eng has done all he could legitimately do to help them. The earlier offer of a RM200,000 house for each family is certainly a dream deal they should have accepted. Honestly, I doubt that any of them could on their own afford such a house. By the time the houses are built their market value would certainly be increased. It is a windfall they should not deprived themselves of. I hope the developer will renew the offer so that a win-win situation can be achieved before the month-end deadline, and I hope my brothers and sisters in Kampung Buah Pala will take up the offer.
