Is there any difference between KSK and LGE in Penang.

Well, the former is a known scammer and will even sell his soul and talk gibberish to appease his UMNO master. The latter talks and talks and spins the media hoping that the public only sees what he has done and how good he is to prove a point without actually knowing what is the point that he is trying to prove fumbling whenever factual issues are questioned.
Kg Buah Pala issue is at heart of every Malaysian today. Everyone knows Gerakan government screwed the villagers, yet no demolition was undertaken because the Exco minutes clearly stated that the villagers needed to be consulted and adequately compensated before any action for demolition is carried out. Funny though, that LGE never revealed his EXCO minutes when Pakatan came into power that actually allowed the transfer and concluded the deal.
I do admit that UMNO led BN under the guidance of KSK messed up the villagers, but this is not the issue. For 18 months LGE had the opportunity to right a wrong through valid legal process in unveiling those fraudulent transactions that took place in Kg Buah Pala for the benefits of the BN cronies.
Did he do anything about it, did he intitiate any action to safeguard what is the truth and protect those villagers who maybe in small numbers, but nevertheless part of the citizenry. Not a chance, but when the matter erupted as a national affair, he took a defensive approach to brand them as selfish, arrogant and self centred people and got his media spinners to achieve his own political goals.
The party or the politician is not important, but what they can do to protect them by spinning endlessly to make the villagers the scapegoat in the process. Frankly when you look at this, is there any difference between KSK and LGE, KSK did it subtly but LGE did it with all the media spin and at the end of the day, the victim is neither them but those villagers who are living in fear and misery.
Many people who have emailed me stated that they have cancelled their bookings in the project. Most of them are not concerned who is right or who is wrong, who is greedy or who is unreasonable, but they should not contribute directly or indirectly to others’ misery as they have seen how those villagers had fought tooth and nail for what is the truth and just cause for them.
So, whether we learn the lesson or going to be UMNO supporter or Pakatan supporter depends not on the media spin but, what is just and truthful for a cause that we undertake and the trouble we would take to digest the facts and accept the truth. Yes it was not possible during KSK but if we face the same issue with LGE, then what is the difference between them other than all the half truth and the media spins that are carried out for their political masters.

If material development as contrary to human development is all that you want, then go, go and be a go getter and it really does not matter whether it is KSK or LGE as we the public can rub both side of the balls as it seems fit for our own individual agenda except to identify the truth and fairness for the citizenry.
