DPM: Stop calling for assembly’s dissolution

(The Star) IPOH: Pakatan Rakyat in Perak should stop calling for the dissolution of the state assembly and let Barisan Nasional concentrate on developing the state, said Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.

“The Court of Appeal has decided who is the rightful state government. There’s no point in pushing for dissolution as it will not materialise,” he told reporters yesterday after presenting Raya aid to the poor at Kampung Kepayang here.

Muhyiddin was asked to comment on Pakatan’s move in having its state assembly in a hotel on Wednesday, after they failed to gain entry into the state secretariat building.

Muhyiddin advised Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abd Kadir to continue with his duty of bringing development to the state and to serve the people.

“Do not be perturbed by the actions of Pakatan,” he said.
