My colleagues were arrested for standing up against tyranny

Uthayakumar and 13 of our other colleagues were arrested last night at the candlelight vigil against the seditious protests by UMNO with regards to the Shah Alam temple location.

The 50 UMNO protestors who provoked this whole series of events, the real culprits in this episode are being very slowly investigated by the Attorney general’s office. Nothing very likely will happen to any of them. But those of our colleagues in this peaceful vigil have been arrested summarily and immediately even as the event was only beginning.

This is justice of the majority to the minorities of the country. This is just one of the thousands of events in the history of our country that tells about the real system at work – a tyrannous apartheid system. But this one is an apartheid system of the majority over the minority.
