He claimed that he was beaten at the compound of Kuching International Airport (KIA) followed by the second round in KIA police booth and was denied from lodging a police report at The One Stop Centre until a State and Federal lawmaker Chong Chieng Jen interfere.

The technician, name withheld, told a press conference today that he was having supper with his father and friends before he decided to go to the KIA to have some time alone on Friday.

While there, two police came towards him and alleged that he ran the red light and was speeding. Chin denied the allegation and was dragged out of the car where his clothes was pulled over his head and beaten.

After bashing him, they brought him to a police booth near KIA and there were more than 10 policemen. Chin said he warned them not to beat him as he could identify their names. Instead, three continued beating and slapping him.
