Drop Pakatan

Today, Lim Guan Eng almost had blood on his hands. R. Indrani, 60, douses herself with kerosene and lights a match to torch herself.

"I've lived here all my life," she weeps

I've lived here all my life, she says.

Family members intervened to take her away. Whether she succeeds a second time round in taking her life, time will only tell.

Pakatan lied. Point blank. There is no two ways about it. The ball was in their court to save the villagers land, they served it back. The houses got demolished.

Of course I expect none of the many opposition sympathesizers who frequent my blog to perturbed about this affair. The spin that BN was responsible is so widely known – yet the fact remains that Lim Guan Eng could have kept to his word and rescinded the decision to go ahead with the development.

He did not.

And of course what is the plight of 100 villagers compared to the greater good of the millions of other citizens whose life will be made better once Pakatan Rakyat comes into power. The streets of KL will be paved with gold. Corruption will be eradicated. Hardened criminals will change their ways. Freedom, justice, equality will be the new way forward.

Lets put the facts in perspective. Ever since Prime Minister, Dato Seri Najib took over, has there been any new cases of corruption? In fact, even his once strong ally, Dato Seri Khir Toyo now has to answer to the countless allegations made against him.

As Datuk A. Kadir Jasin so eloquently put – Pakatan's strength is a reflection of Barisan's weakness. I say its a case of political jujitsu, the Opponent uses Barisan's strength which is its control over the instruments of power and governance against BN, so long as BN continues to suck at the job.
