Embattled state Pas chief pleads to be left alone

(NST) – Embattled Pas state commissioner Datuk Dr Hasan Ali continues to evade the media and has pleaded to be left alone.

"Please leave me alone. I need some relief.

"I don't want to say anything. I just need some rest for a few days," he said with his hands clasped when met at his office in the State secretariat building here yesterday.

He also said he had no plans to meet anyone including Menteri Besar Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim on the current crisis involving him.

Also spotted in his office was Pas state secretary, Mohd Khairuddin Othman, who issued a statement on Thursday that Selangor Pas was ready to review its position in the Pakatan Rakyat.

However, it is learned that Selangor Pas has called for an emergency meeting of its Dewan Harian today.

Pas assemblyman and executive councillor Iskandar Samad said a statement would be issued tomorrow.

It is also understood that those sitting in the Pas Dewan Harian are those aligned to Hasan.
