FMT opens with Libèration interview
Free Malaysia Today went live on Monday featuring an interview with Arnaud Dubus, the Bangkok-based Southeast Asia correspondent of Libèration who wrote a detailed account of the Altantuya Shaariibuu murder case in March.

In the interview, Dubus says “the trail (linking Najib Tun Razak to Altantuya) has gone cold” because a photograph that purportedly shows Altantuya, Najib and defence analyst Abdul Razak Baginda at dinner in Paris has disappeared after being handed over to Malaysian police by Altantuya’s father. ‣ Interview Pic Linking Najib to Altantuya “Missing” ‣ Lead story Cops have photo of Najib with Altantuya
He also says her father Shaariibuu Setev was naive to have handed over the photograph and a dossier of documents, without keeping a copy for himself, to the Mongolian honorary consul in Malaysia to be taken to the Malaysian police for their investigation into her murder.
