Opening a New Can of Worms?

We’ve always heard about the “Evil White Man” whenever the word “Colonization” is mentioned. However, not much has been discussed about the Japanese Occupation in Malaya. It would seem strange that UMNO almost disregards this Bloody Occupation; as though it never happened. Instead, a “Look-East Policy” was propagated by UMNO to “Hero Worship” the Japanese.

By John Doe

For those who are too young to remember the Japanese Occupation, here it is in a Nutshell. The Japanese had gone to seek permission from Thailand to land its troops in order to conquer Malaya. It took only 3 days for the Kempetai to occupy Malaya. Despite Malaya’s larger troops and better weapons, the Japanese sliced through Malaya like a hot knife through butter.

Malaya became “New Malai”, and Singapore became “Syonan”. New Malai and Sumatra was ruled as a single unit, while Syonan was kept under separate management. The 4 Northern States comprising Perlis, Kedah, Kelantan, and Terengganu were gift-wrapped and presented to Siam as a gratuitous “Thank You”. Those living in those Northern States would remember having to raise 2 flags; the Siamese and the Japanese “Rising Sun” flags during WWll. Just like today, if you don’t raise the UMNO flag, you will “face diffculty”.

The “Asia for Asians” Program had officially begun. The Japanese Governor made all the decisions while the Sultans were sidelined by the Japanese and had no real power. Any twitch and the Mighty Katana would sever a head. It was the Era of “Ketuanan Jepang”. In fact, many thousands of heads were severed for “non-compliance”. This was the early form of the now legendary Malayan ISA. Sometimes, people are killed at random and thrown out of the 14th floor; just to show “who is in charge”. Peasants had to bow lower and longer when a passing soldier walked by; or risk losing your head, only to be displayed on a pole, so that all may learn. “Ketuanan Jepang” was firmly in place in Malaya.

Under the “Asia for Asians Program”, the BTN of the Japanese started a “Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere” which suspiciously sounds like the “NEP” of today. This Empty-Promise Slogan virtually guaranteed the Prosperity of the Crooks who started the Slogan, and never for the people who had to make sacrifices to make that “nice-sounding program” work. The same principle of “Divide and Rule” was continued by the Japanese, pitting one race against the other. Lies about how one race was spying against the other was simple enough to guarantee inter-racial animosity. Unfortunately, the Japanese had a drastically different religion from the locals, and therefore the Japanese had great difficulty in using the “me and you same-same” religious lies to garner support. I dread to imagine if everyone in Malaya were of the same religion! One may see many more Kamikazee wannabe’s today.

However, the Japanese managed to convince the non-Chinese that Malaya would be granted total independence if they worked with the Imperial Japanese Government against the British. As such, the the non-Chinese swallowed the Japanese BTN-propoganda wholeheartedly. It was not any different from the BTN of today. Perhaps it was because the Japanese were enemies of the Chinese as the former had, at that time, just recently invaded China. Thus, the Japanese decided to work with the non-Chinese. After all, if they managed to convince the non-Chinese and the Sumaterans that the Chinese were evil, then at least both parties would now have a “Common Yellow Enemy”.

Unfortunately, that cruel lie worked. And the non-Chinese believed the bluff of the Japanese. Few non-Chinese heads rolled as a result of this. It was not their fault. The only broadband available then was the “Multi-Purpose Dirt-Road Super-Corridor”, or bicycles, and even that was controlled by the Japanese. So, under this imaginary “Ketuanan Jepang”, Sumatra and New Malai suffered – Economically, Socially, and Morally. Money was measured in sacks, and Banana Money was the defacto currency for as long as “Ketuanan Jepang” was here, as enshrined by the Ruling “Constipation”. Alas, the non-Chinese did not know this, as they were told that non-Chinese were in fact, “The Chosen Ones”.

The APs were tightly controlled by the Japanese, and only those who had an AP could import anything. Also not so different from today. Fortunately, Mongolian-Translators were not yet fluent enough in the French Language, thus none were bombed in Malaya. But that would soon change in about 50 years or so. And people then tended to build their own submarines rather than import anything fancy from the French; including Fries, Caps, or Kisses. Plus, the Japanese Cronies monopolized all the APs.

The only known “famous guy” for fighting the Japanese is today barred from going home. Banned from his own country and called all sorts of ugly names instead. Never mind that he was forced to live in the Jungle. Never mind the fact that Chin Peng may even have met Bigfoot(s) while he was in Johor! If there is a Bigfoot(s), it(they) certainly wouldn’t hide during a War. The MCA (Malayan Communist Activists), or was it called MPAJA (Malayan Peoples’ Anti-Japanese Association) would have surely met BigFeet(?). Notice that it is called the Malayan Peoples’ AJA, and not the Malayan Chinese AJA. That was because it was actually multi-racial. The good people of Malaya then did not understand the word Ethnocentrism. Today, they still don’t; but are racists anyway, all thanks to BTN (Bau Teruk-nya Najis). But since UMNO never acknowledged that the Japanese were the Enemy, so to them there was no War, no oppression, no beheadings, no massacres and therefore, no freedom fighters, and no need for any Hero(es). Too bad for the MPAJA. They simply died for nothing. On the other hand, a guy killing some bathing-bloke on the Perak River near Pasir Salak is much more significant.

In fact, Maharajalela “killed”  Birch twice! Jalan Maharajalela replaced Birch Road in KL. Can you imagine that posthumous murder is possible in Malaysia? Definitely Malaysia Boleh!

Even the pictures of Sir Lord Mountbatten awarding a then young Chin Peng means nothing to UMNO other than a “Gambar Lama yang tidak bermakna”. Since the White Man is evil, then everything about the White Man has to be discredited. From the Awards he gives, to even the Language of the White Man, including all Knowledge & Education, which is allegedly the “Creation” of the White Man. School Education is decidedly created by the Evil White Man to make life difficult for the Malays. Is this why UMNO is still deliberately keeping 64 schools without electriciy or water, if nothing else but to spite the Evil White Man?

And those who do not like it can get their Well-Educated-Butts out of this Country for good!!! Well, close to 400,000 Malaysians did just that since 2008. Good riddance to Good Brains!

Anyway, there were no known/notable UMNO Heroes who fought the Japanese. Hence, all that I’ve written above is irrelevant to UMNO.
