Muslim Unity Conference Promotes Disunity, Endorses UMNO Racism
UK based Ramadhan Foundation is hosting the “International Muslim Unity Conference” in Kuala Lumpur next week. The stated objectives of the conference:
In 2009 we present the 2nd International Muslim Unity Convention in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. This great diverse nation has demonstrated how different communities and faiths can coexist in peace as demonstrated over the past fifty years and now the World’s Muslims come together to reaffirm their commitment to unity in this great city of the east.
Shocking that the Muslim Unity Conference that is intended to show how different communities and faiths can coexists in peace would invite as their keynote, mainline speakers, three of the biggest (allegedly) racist politicians in the country, Prime Minister Najib Razak, former Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamed and I also heard DPM Muhyiuddin as well. Has the Ramadhan Foundation, which is the conference organiser, been reading about the BTN spat, where UMNO stalwarts are saying openly what they only used to say behind closed doors – we’re all a bunch of racists and the only difference is who is a bigger racist?
