Police report lodged against Kayveas

(Bernama) – A police report was lodged today against People’s Progressive Party (PPP) president Datuk M Kayveas over an alleged disparaging statement he had made against Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk T Murugiah.

The report was made at the Brickfields police headquarters here by R Ellan Govan who claims to be the PPP Youth chief although he is said to have been expelled.

Ellan Govan said the report was made to ask police to conduct an investigation to clear Murugiah’s name following the alleged personal attack by Kayveas.

On his position as the PPP Youth chief, he said no expulsion letter was issued to him by the party and he was not informed when his deputy, Jamaludin Ghulamhan, was appointed in his place.
