Turmoil in the country, shouldn’t the opposition start taking over?

When the government fails its tasks … shouldn’t the 2nd in command come up with a solution?

Our Malaysian political system has recently turned into a 2 party system with 2 strong coalitions competing against each other. This is a
good sign for check and balance against wrongdoings of each other.

While they are competing, fault finding is always the main agenda to bring down each other.

However, in a situation where one governing party fails to perform its task to curb a serious issue, should the other party wait for total chaos before stepping in to form a new government?

Or should they begin to take action to tackle issues that the government failed to undertake and prove to the people that they are the
better choice?

The key is, DOES IT HAVE TO END UP IN A MESS BEFORE IT CHANGES HANDS??

The people’s concern is stability, and safety.

If a situation goes out of hand, it takes months or even years to recover. And it takes lots of public funds to recover it.

So, I’m urging the PR reps and leaders. Now is the time to prove that you are more capable than the governing party. Where they failed,
you will succeed. And your capability in handling this issue well will prove to everybody that you are more worthy of our votes.

Or are you waiting for a better time, when BN fails more miserably before stepping in? So that it makes a greater contrast?

Bear in mind that the concerns of the people are stability and safety. And this issue is becoming worrying.

I hope PR can step in and solve this issue, where BN has failed to address.
