We cannot win against stupidity!

By steadyaku47

A technical fault in the nation’s first submarine, the KD Tunku Abdul Rahman, that prevents it from diving, is a minor hitch that will not interfere with its operations and can be rectified by its builders. Defence Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said: “We have a warranty on the sub and we are confident the builders can fix it.”

The above statement by the Defence Minister is a manifestation of what is wrong with our UMNO “elites” – in this case a Minister no less. We cannot win against stupidity! Mahathir required that his Minister be corrupt and flawed so the better for him to control them. Being stupid must be an additional requirement to be a Minister under Najib. There are more stupid fools in UMNO than there are buah pala (nutmegs) in Penang! Do not forget this submarine is not “a sandwich made with a long roll cut horizontally” like those sold at Subway! You are playing with the lives of our Navy personnel. Putting them in harm’s way is not an option you should even contemplate!

KD Tunku Abdul Rahman arrived in September 2009. It has not been able to dive from three months back – so was the submarine ever operational? Ever?

In simple terms, a submarine is a “a boat built to operate and travel for long periods underwater”. The operative word here is “underwater”. If a submarine is not able to dive and go underwater then any idiot will know that it is not a “minor hitch”. Not having fresh eggs on a submarine is a “minor hitch”.

Now let us take the Ferry and cross over to Penang. Banning the Prophet Muhammad’s birthday procession is stupid. Lim Eng Guan is not stupid!

“Utusan Malaysia lied and I don’t want Muhyiddin Yassin to embarrass himself by believing that lie,” Lim told The Malaysian Insider last night.

Now that we know that there WILL be a Prophet Muhammad’s birthday procession, will those worms from Utusan Malaysia and Muhyiddin go crawl back into the woodwork? They have done their part in inflaming racial and religious sentiments and their work is done! Another tick for 1Malayisa as interpreted by these UMNO stalwarts!

This is what Transparency International had to say about Penang: Penang state has introduced several measures to improve the regulatory environment with regard to government procurement, in what is referred to as a CAT – a Competent, Accountable and Transparent – government. It is the first state government to implement the open tender system for government procurement and contracts. Furthermore, the Penang government has issued a directive whereby all administrators and state executive councilors are not allowed to make any new land applications.

Now this is what Transparency International had to say about the UMNO led Government: “has failed in many areas especially in addressing corruption”.

Enough said about Penang.

And now about Lim Guan Eng. Is he anti-Malay? Have you forgotten that he was the one who went to the defense of the underaged Malay girl who was raped by Tan Sri Rahim Thamby Chik (he still is a Tan Sri so must show respect – but he still did rape that underaged Malay School Girl!). For his trouble, Guan Eng was hounded by Mahatir and incarcerated under ISA. Rahim Thamby Chik is now back among UMNO political elites – or his peers. Now I wonder who else among his UMNO peers and among those UMNO political elites did rape underaged Malay schoolgirls? If Rahim is the only one then he stands head and shoulders amongst UMNO elites. First amongst equal.

That Guan Eng is now Chief Minister of Penang is good karma!

As for Datuk Seri Zahrain Mohamed Hashim (again, like must put his full title lest he thinks me disrespectful – but that does not change the fact that he is still a low life scum of the earth kind of Datuk Seri!) – his problem is simple. He was not able to “persuade” Lim Guan Eng “to accept his recommendation to approve a RM 2 company to operate and manage Bukit Jambul Golf & Country Club”. You must commend this Zahrain for his tenacity in fighting for the “have nots and those financially challenged”. A $2 company does fall into the “financially challenged” category. As to why he chose to do so must not be construed by anybody to mean that he is corrupt or that he was “lobbying” for the $2 company and was hoping, like Razak Baginda, that he will be amply rewarded for “services rendered”. Nor must we even think that he had vested interests in the company. Let us just say that he is a corrupt bastard and leave it at that.
