Wee, a rich deputy minister

(Malaysian Mirror) KUALA LUMPUR –  Speculations are rife that MCA Youth chief Wee Ka Siong has amassed millions of ringgit despite being only a deputy minister.

A source estimated he has  RM4.2mil in 34 bank acounts, the bulk of which are in current accounts.

The balance in the current accounts ranges from RM22,000 to over RM700,000.

As a deputy Education minister, Wee is said to be drawing about RM10, 800 a month and as the Ayer Hitam MP he earns the parliamentarian allowance of RM6,508.

Wee has been a deputy minister for only about two years.
