Muslims should laud and be proud of Al-Islam for its humility to apologise to the Catholic Church and Christians who may have been offended by its foolish caper at a Catholic church. The reporters concerned have also apologised for hurting the feelings of Christians in the country. Case closed.
Of course, there will always be shit-stirrers who get their kicks out of issues like this to stir religious fervour — those who get their high when there is trouble in the country.

Yeap, case closed. Al-Islam has apologised. Congratulations. So stop making an issue out of it. Stop exploiting the matter and stop fanning the sentiments of the Christians. It is now a non-issue.
I agree with Hantu Laut, the pro-Umno Blogger. Since Al-Islam has done the noble thing and apologised for what it did, we too should be noble enough to accept the apology and move on. We do not need to deliberate on that particular matter any longer. Instead, we should focus on all those other unresolved matters and demonstrate that Muslims can be reasonable when the occasion demands and that Muslims do know how to apologise when required to.
Okay, now that the Al-Islam matter is behind us, we should next get the Muslims to apologise for May 13, the infamous race riots of 1969 that saw many lives lost but which until today the real story has never been told. Then Muslims should apologise for the Kelantan riots of 1977, which Umno triggered to bring down the PAS government but resulted in the burning of Chinese property in Kota Bharu. Muslims should also apologise for the Sarawak riots of 1966 and the Sabah riots of 1986, which were also aimed at toppling the opposition parties that had come into power in the state.
After that, Muslims should apologise for the RM2,000 billion petrol money earned since 1957 in East Malaysia and since 1974 in the East Coast of West Malaysia which has all been spent with no proper accounting to Parliament and which until today the Malaysian voters have not been told how the money was spent.
When that is done, the Muslims should reveal how many Malaysians and foreigners have been killed since Merdeka while under detention, under interrogation, under remand, and while under arrest — which can be classified as extrajudicial executions. Then all the names should be listed down — which can easily run into tens of thousands if we include those ‘suspected’ Communist Terrorists and Communist Sympathisers executed by the security apparatus. And then Muslims can apologise for that.
Following that, Muslims should apologise for the brainwashing that Malaysians have been subjected to through BTN and other government machinery set up to poison the minds of Malaysians with false and misleading indoctrination aimed at imprisoning the minds of Malaysians and turning them into mental slaves of the powers-that-be.
Once that is done, Muslims should apologise for nurturing a breed of Malays and Muslims who have been taught a false and deviated version of Islam and have been taught that Malays are weak, backward, mentally retarded, and can never compete with the non-Malays because the Malays are weaklings unless the government offers them special protection and privileges and introduces laws to give Malays priority over others.
